The Sun and the Sky and the Earth
The Sun will stop,
then stay for three days,
and come back a new
sun.
Said the Sky to
the Earth.
We shall have new faces
for a new year
to see new things
with old movements
and ubiquitous intents.
Said the Earth to the Sky.
They were silent
having been too long in each other’s
company to waste words.
